Things you might be wondering about this place...The title
"I'm Gonna Be Free" comes from the lyrics of Someone to Love. In the original Queen version, the line is: "one day I'm gonna be free," but this version was: "someday I'm gonna be free." So, the title works either way. ;)Why does the index page say "Hello, darling lovelies?"
Freddie Mercury called people "darling" quite a lot. George Michael used to call his fans his "lovelies." So, I did the greeting that way as a tribute to both of them.The header image
The header combines images from the Queen love songs album Forever, the Five Live EP (where the song originally appeared), and the single cover from this version of the song. I've included Freddie Mercury in the header, because he wrote the song (and sang the heck out of it!), and this performance was done as a tribute to him. I faded him out, however, to represent him being in spirit (and not physically present for this version of the song).I also used an image/texture I received from thefanlistings.org as a thank you for supporting them. I messed around with colors and all that stuff in Photoshop Elements. And... I guess that covers the header.
