A bit about this fanlisting and its creation.

The Title

"Full Significance of Life" comes from the following quote, which has been attributed to both Marlon Brando, and James Dean. I'm not sure which one of them really said it, or if both did... one quoting the other. Dean loved to emulate Brando, so who knows? At any rate, it felt like a good name for this place.

"To grasp the full significance of life is the actor's duty, to interpret it is his problem, and to express it his dedication."

Header Image and Layout

Features the aforementioned quote, along with a photo of Brando from the 1950s, and a promotional still from the movie Don Juan DeMarco (1994). I thought it would be nice to represent him as both a young man, and an older man, since he had such a long career.

It's teal, just because I love that color, and haven't really used it a lot in my designs. This is also my only fanlisting (at the moment) to be aligned completely to the left. I hadn't done that in years, and I felt like mixing it up.

The Fonts

It might seem odd that I usually list the fonts I've used on my fanlistings. I mostly do it for my own benefit, so I can remember. Also, I figure someone might see one they like, and want to know where to find it.

The quote in the header, the navigation, and two largest headings are all in Cinzel Regular. The words "Marlon Brando fanlisting" are in Great Vibes. The main content is Open Sans. All three are available from Google Fonts.

The smaller headings (such as film or play titles), or anything else in italics, are either Georgia, or Times, depending on which you have installed.
